EDWARD (Ed) J. RAPP

Ed Rapp retired from Caterpillar Inc. in July 2016. Prior to his retirement, Ed was a Caterpillar Group President.  During his 37-year career with the company he lived and worked around the world including assignments in the US, Africa, Europe and Asia.

Ed founded the Stay Strong vs. ALS Donor Advised Fund that invests in institutions focused on finding a cure and improving assistive devices for ALS patients and is actively engaged in the world of ALS. Rapp is a member of the ALS Finding a Cure Executive Committee and is the Chairman of the Answer ALS Advisory Board.  He is also a member of the FM Global and AbbVie board of directors.

Rapp has a BSBA degree in finance from the University of Missouri-Columbia.  Ed and his wife Ann now reside in Cary, North Carolina near their children and grandsons.
