Paul has lead the Answer ALS organization from an idea that sparked from the Team Gleason Summit in 2014, to the Foundation that helped coordinate the single largest ALS research effort in the history of ALS.
Paul is a native New Orleanian and worked in the retail clothing business for 30 years. He left the clothing industry and opened a restaurant supply business for 15 years until retiring. In his spare time, he is the co– owner or the #1 rated steak house in New Orleans and is also the lead singer for a popular band that now only plays 2 or 3 times a year.
When New Orleans cult hero and former Saint, Steve Gleason, Paul’s son-in-law, announced he was diagnosed with ALS, Paul stepped out of retirement and offered his time to help create and lead Team Gleason and then ultimately, Answer ALS.
Paul is also very active in the community, serves on the Board of Crimestoppers and Seasons, a hospice and grief counseling organization.
